Long time friends Laura Imbruglia and The Smallgoods are heading from Melbourne for one magical show at The Eastern this September.
Laura and her band The Bin Chickens have been hot on the tour trail this year, promoting her latest album “Scared Of You” and landing supports with The Saboteurs and Teenage Fanclub, along with a coveted slot at Boogie Fest back in April.
Laura and band will be playing at BIGSOUND and then zooming in to the Rat to officially launch her new single “Give Boys Pink Toys”. If you missed her album launch at The Eastern back in May, don’t make the same mistake again.
The Smallgoods are back from the dead after a 7 year hiatus which ended with the release of new single “Satellite” back in April. Since then they have hit their stride with a number of harmony-laden shows, including Boogie Festival, and released a second single “Hurry Up & Slow Down” in July. This September show will be the precursor to the release of their long-awaited fourth album “Lost In The Woods”, which will be their first fully self-produced release.
